A West Coast Summer Clambake

Who else has the post-holiday blues right now? I sure do, so I’m revisiting the long weekend in this post! I was in a surf and seafood mood for the 4th of July, so I invited my girlfriends Kaitlyn and Katherine to our beach club for a fun-filled clambake. Hello summer chic! We didn’t all plan on wearing one-pieces, but clearly we were on the same page. A classic one-piece just screams summer to me. I was feeling all the red, white and blue vibes, so deciding on an All-American color scheme was easy. I’m kind of obsessed with all…

Stars And Stripes: 4th of July Outfit Ideas

Who is getting excited for the holiday weekend?! Are y’all doing beach, BBQ or parade—or all three?! One of my besties from Dallas is coming to visit me and explore LA, so I know we have a ‘grammable weekend ahead of us. We will definitely be at the beach in our red, white and blue on the 4th! Here are some festive outfit ideas if any of y’all are last minute shoppers like I am. Gotta love Revolve’s free two day shipping! And of course these pieces can be worn all summer long. Will You Accept This Frosé?

Who here is obsessed with Bachelor Mondays? I am a die-hard Bachelor fan. I have been addicted since the good ol’ days with Trista and Ryan! My favorite day of the week during Bach season is Monday because hello new episodes and then my second favorite day is Wednesday, because Sheaffer posts her recaps. They are HILARIOUS. If you haven’t read them yet, you are going to LOVE ‘em. I always watch the show with the essentials- wine, popcorn, friends and TiVo. However, a few Mondays ago I decided to go a little over the top (what else is new?)…

What I Miss About Dallas And Love About LA

I had a fabulous weekend in Dallas. The weekend was filled with so much love and happiness, because my bestie Emily got engaged! The proposal and the surprise parties that followed were gorgeous, and I’m so happy I was there to celebrate with Emily and her fiancé. I also got to spend a lot of time with other great friends and enjoy my favorite Dallas spots (literally cannot say enough good things about NorthPark Mall and the cajun chicken at Le Bilboquet, lol!). As fun as the weekend was, I also felt kind of weird the entire time. Can anyone relate…

Congrats Class of 2017!

I’ve become more and more interested in event planning and recently planned a graduation party for a family friend with 100 guests! We wanted a tropical atmosphere that was fun for the grads and also felt elevated for the adults. Décor is my jam and my absolute favorite part of planning parties. I really went to town on Etsy. When we were about a week away from the party and the RSVPs kept coming, I hightailed it to Bonjour Fete in Studio City. Highly recommend if you live in the area. It’s the cutest party store ever! I like that…
