My mom and I picked up this Grecian embroidered dress at The Grove. Have y’all been to The Grove lately? I feel like The Grove wasn’t that big of a deal when I was in high school 10 years ago but now omg it’s always packed! We are talking Disneyland-level packed! My mom has an excellent eye and I like to call her my personal shopper, lol! She spotted this dress on the rack and I wasn’t that impressed at first but tried it on anyways and instantly loved it. It’s also on sale now for $66! Don’t you just hate when you buy something and then it goes on sale a few weeks later? Oh well not lucky for me but lucky for you! I paired the dress with my mom’s garnet heart necklace she bought in the Czech Republic over 30 years ago. It’s such a beautiful piece and I always steal/borrow it whenever I’m home.

The fabulous Betsy Newman and I shot these photos in the Venice Canals. It is such a gorgeous area and totally its own little world. I can’t believe I had never been there before! Next time I’m planning to walk around the Canals around golden hour before grabbing a fun dinner on Abbot Kinney. The Canals are Venice, Italy meets Southern California, and I 100% love it. My new life goal is to own a house right on the Canals. Most of the houses have docks for their own boats- how fun is that?! I also can’t get enough of the beautiful bougainvillea all over the area. Bougainvillea is my favorite flower. I told my mom I wanted to get married under an altar of bougainvillea and she told me I was crazy and it’s probably bad luck to get married under a poisonous flower but whatever lol!
