I have never been a light packer. It’s just not my strong suit. I like to bring my whole life with me when I go on vacation, but if you told me I could just bring the essentials in my makeup bag, here are some of my top faves.

I’ve used Chanel mascara for years, but my friend Jaclyn recently gave me some life changing beauty advice and I have not looked back since—I’ve been layering Maybelline Mega Plus Volume Express with Too Faced Better Than Sex. I use several coats of each, get really close to my eyeball without actually poking myself in the eye and then curl up and my lashes are crazy long. Several people have asked me if I have extensions!

My skin got too used to the MAC Studio Moisture Cream I loved so much this winter, so I’ve been switching it up with either MAC Complete Comfort Cream or Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I also apply Josie Maran Argan Oil Light underneath whatever moisturizer I’m using. Since it’s light, I can use it with my moisturizer and not look like a grease ball.

I own about 11 tubes of Smith’s Menthol and Eucalyptus Lip Balm. You may think that it’s a bit excessive, but I need to have one in every purse or I have major anxiety, ha!

I could go on and on about all the products listed above, but it’s Monday morning and I am probably losing your attention! A few last minute notes—This Tory Burch perfume smells so yummy. It’s a great every day scent. Clinique Take The Day Off makeup remover is good for sensitive eyes. I’ve struggled with different makeup removers irritating my eyes, and this one is really gentle. This Clinique lip set has the cutest mini pink and red lipsticks! It would be an adorable gift for a friend or yourself!
