What a pretty rust top, right?! Rust is definitely one of my favorite fall colors, and this top is a steal under $50. Lately, I’ve been styling this top with a cozy cardigan for a more fall look. Also I hope you like these jeans because you’re going to be seeing them a lot on Brooke du jour! I think the rips add a little edge. When my dad saw them, he asked me how I ripped my pants, lol!
On another note, I just finished the BEST book and had to tell y’all. It’s called One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid and omgosh it is a tear jerker! I started crying on the 64th page and it was waterworks the whole flight (I have this horrible habit of reading the saddest books and/or watching the saddest movies on planes, which always leads to embarrassing tears). I promise I’m not giving anything away as this all happens in just the FIRST chapter- Emma and Jesse are madly in love high school sweethearts. They’ve been together for 10 years and have traveled the world together. Over their anniversary weekend, Jesse goes to Alaska on a work assignment and his helicopter goes missing. He’s presumed dead and Emma is obviously completely devastated. However she eventually moves on and falls in love with Sam. 3 ½ years later, Jesse is rescued (!!!), so Emma has to choose between her husband and fiancé. Juicy, right?! I highly suggest cancelling your weekend plans and diving into this book! It completely pulled me in and made me really think about my own relationships as well. If you read it, let me know what you think!
