Calling all NYE lovers! Everyone’s favorite holiday is right around the corner, so I thought it would be fun to post a makeup tutorial to help you ring in 2017! Fabulous bubbly, sparklers and midnight countdowns wouldn’t be complete without a party-perfect makeup look right?!
I kept my overall look the same as this post but I switched up my eye shadow and lips.
To recreate my look, first pat MAC Smoky Mauve eye shadow like a V on the outer corners of your eyes. Then take MAC Last Dance eye shadow and pat and press it in the inner corners. Last Dance is a really fun, sparkly shade. I mean what is New Year’s Eve without glitter eye shadow? Nothing I tell you, nothing. Next, pat and drag down your brush with MAC Swish eye shadow in the middle of the other colors. Tip: Patting makes your shadow last longer and really shows the color. To intensify the shadow, try MAC Prep & Prime Fix +. It will give you a really fun, metallic eye! Definitely adds an exclamation point to any look.
For lips, use the MAC Stripdown lip pencil first. Another tip: Lay the pencil flat and drag it around to get the most color. Lip liner can be a little tricky to get the hang of at first, but it makes your lip gloss last so much longer—which comes in handy after several glasses of champs! Finish off with MAC Snob lip gloss for a pretty nude lip that doesn’t compete with your eyes + extra kissable lips!
Cheers to 2017! What are your plans for NYE?
