Out of all the shades of pink, I think ballet pink is my favorite. It’s just so soft and feminine. Add in some accordion pleats and then I get really excited! I love how simple yet beautiful this dress is. So far, I’ve worn it to #rStheCon and brunch at Bistro31– (one of my favorite brunch spots in Dallas! If you haven’t been, sit on the patio and order the lemon ricotta pancakes. You will thank me). I plan on throwing a denim jacket over it when I want to make things more casual. If you’re more of a lilac girl than a pink girl (say it ain’t so!), this dress also comes in a pretty lilac shade.
Interestingly enough, the company behind Elizabeth & James also launched Likely, the designer of this dress. As much as I love Mary Kate + Ashley (Holiday In The Sun was their best movie in my personal opinion), the price points at Elizabeth & James are kind of ridic. Whenever I’m at CUSP at NorthPark, I always kind of wander around the Elizabeth & James section, but I don’t look at the price tags in an effort to avoid depression. So I love seeing that all Likely pieces are around $200. Stellar style that doesn’t break the bank is kind of my life motto (insert fist bumb emoji here).
Happy Friday! Have a great weekend. I’m spending the weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan with my family to celebrate my brother’s college graduation. I am so crazy proud of him! xx
You always have the best pink pieces in your closet! You look lovely in this dress! Hope you have a fun weekend in Ann Arbor!
xx, Merritt
