If you have been reading Brooke du jour for a while, you know I always love a good picnic. Aren’t picnics the best part of summer? I’m never one to turn down an opportunity for snacks after all. For this picnic, I packed my favorite summer foods (watermelon all day every day please) and wore my latest find from Anthropologie. I actually have this shirtdress in several colors. At the rate I’m going, I will need a dedicated section in my closet for shirtdresses pretty soon. They’re just so light and easy, and the bow adds an extra cute touch.

Who’s in the mood for a picnic now? It’s already August (gasp!) and there is only so much time to enjoy al fresco dining. I highly recommend grabbing your girlfriends, packing up a yummy shareable spread and finding a nice, shady spot at your local park : )
