I’m not a morning person. I so wish I was but I’m just not. Quick tip- if you ever want to get me out of bed, dangle a Starbucks and/or a DryBar gift card in front of me and I will run to you. For all other mornings, I will snooze my alarm until the last possible minute before I have to get ready for work. Thankfully, my office is casual so I don’t feel like I need to put my whole face on. However, no one likes a hot mess so I try to pull it together real quick. Here’s my morning makeup routine- guaranteed to get you out of the door in 10 minutes or less…

I’m all about lashes so I start there. My friend Jaclyn is a beauty guru/goddess and taught me a fabulous trick- it’s all about layering when it comes to mascara. I do several coats of CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara, add a few coats of Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and then finish it off with a few more coats of the CoverGirl Mascara.

Next up, it’s moisturizer time. I’ve tried a lot of different moisturizers in the MAC family and I’m currently into MAC Marine Bright Formula SPF 30 Moisturizer. I love that it already has SPF 30, because I’m a freak when it comes to sunscreen. I’m pale and scared of Botox down the line, so I basically wear sunscreen all the time.

Then I apply Chanel Le Teint Ultra Tenue Ultrawear Flawless Foundation. I’m a little late to the beautyblender party, so I always use Chanel Pinceau Fond De Teint Foundation Brush #6. I then most likely dab Chanel Correcteur Perfection Long-Lasting Concealer under my eyes, because I stayed up too late watching all my favorite shows on Netflix (I’m currently re-watching “Mad Men,” and I swear Jon Hamm gets hotter every time I watch). Next, I apply Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15. I am the palest person in America so I have the lightest shade- #10. I then lightly brush NARS Deep Throat blush on my cheeks to give me a little color.

Depending on my mood, I’ll finish things off with either Chanel 119 Wild Rose lip gloss or just some Burt’s Bees chap stick. I have about a million tubes of both of these in every purse.

So that’s it! Super quick and easy and definitely not rocket science. What are your morning beauty routines?
