When I read Emily Schuman, the creator of cupcakes and cashmere, was launching a clothing line, I knew it would be amazing. I’ve been reading Emily’s site since I was in high school and have always loved her edgy, feminine and classic aesthetic. As I was checking out the collection online, I was instantly drawn to this striped number. I’m the first to admit I hoard striped pieces, but this dress clearly stands out from the sea of stripes in my closet. The slanted stripes put a fresh spin on a classic style. This dress can easily be dressed up or down and it’s seasonless. Won’t it look great with a leather jacket and ankle booties in the fall?
