I’m back from my
little blogging hiatus! I don’t think I’ve ever gone two weeks without posting
before (the break gave me serious anxiety!), but I was soaking up my last few
weeks in NYC. Now that I’m home and the most crucial responsibility in my
planner involves drinking sangria by the pool, I will have plenty of new posts
coming your way.

Now let’s chat about
this dress– Like any California girl, I love a good maxi. It screams summer and
gives you an excuse to not shave your legs that day. Win, win right? Who are
your favorite maxi designers? I hadn’t heard of Kim Phan’s line, Yumi Kim,
before I spotted this dress at Bloomingdales, but I now love the entire line
and back story. Kim knew she wanted to become a designer when she made clothes for
her Barbie dolls as a 7-year-old. I used to draw chicken pox on my dolls- Does
this mean I’m destined to become a doctor? Stay tuned.
