A huge thanks to my perfect style match, my best friend Kendall, for taking the photos.

Los Angeles, I missed you! I’ve had
so much fun relaxing with my family and friends over fall break in my treasured
hometown. Long lazy lunches at Huckleberry and retail therapy with my mom are
just what the doctor ordered after a week of pesky midterms.
I wore this outfit to a dinner date
with my girlfriends. I’m typically not one to wear all black, but I felt chic
in this minimalist ensemble. Modern easy glamour is hard to come by, but this
Bardot lace back blouse and Mango peplum velvet skirt are equally fun and
functional. I also loved mixing lace and velvet with my Tory Burch suede ankle
booties (similar). Experimenting with texture keeps fashion from feeling too stuffy,
don’t you think?
