SMU Family Weekend is almost here. For many of you, this could be the big opportunity to meet your new beau’s parents. “I have nothing to wear!” seems to be the classic dilemma, but choosing an outfit to impress his parents can be extra intimidating.
I was a bit frazzled (to say the least!) when I met Spencer’s parents. I remember tearing my closet apart to find something that possessed girl-next-door charm. I was glad I stuck to happy hues instead of over-the-top prints.
These sweet and feminine pieces are sure to win over his mama, so you lovebirds can live happily ever after! If Mr. and Mrs. treat you to dinner, don’t forget to write a thoughtful thank you note. Sometimes the old-fashioned way is the best way : )
